Also the Ashanti craft villages. The paraphernalia for the tradition of the chieftancy is created in the villages outside Kumasi. In the Gambia, you will see the unforgettable memories such as the homecoming Juffureh, the village of Alex Harley and James Islands, one of the points of departure of the slaves to the Americas.

A country of real sanctuary and a living museum - one of the last islets of an authentically Africa culture which has out-lived all the assault of the Western civilization. The Sanctuary is inhibited by one of the most astonishing people of all black Africa - THE DOGONS.

Yet, in French West African country like Senegal, the Goree Island is deeply rooted in the history of the slave trade from the 16thcentury to the 19th century. The Cayar & Retba, the sally, sine saloum, saint Louis are all interesting places in Senegal.
